A juvenile:

A different adult than the one pictured at

Too bad the sky is so white and the dark

WOW - amazing catches but that one with the
foggy background is something else. The last
one is grainy but that is not bad, I am
"pro" noise as it adds a certain
touch... so I like it!

Awesome place, Christine. Those eagles
really must be used to people for you to be
close enough for such great shots. The
juvenile flying in front of foggy James
Island is my favorite.

Wow - what a treat to see them all up close
like that! There's a group of bald eagles
that nest in the protected forest around
Quabbin Reservoir in central MA, and I've
seen several in flight there while fishing
with my dad, but NEVER this close!
