i uploaded a pic as public but no one can comment

why? did i do something wrong..?nothing else that i usually do and i post here on flickr for 2 years now..

Check your permissions here. You may have turned commenting off.

Yes, but have you actually checked that image to see if commenting has been turned off?

Ah yes. To check the image itself, go to the photopage. Click the Edit beside the This Image Is Public text. Then click all privacy settings. The permissions for who can comment are there.

That's the default privacy. However at the time of upload you may also have set the picture to no comments. See my post above.

ok..got it now..it was in all privacy settings...it was turned off, although i absolutely don;t recall working there..
