Even without an account review, your screen name should be found in a search, unless you have your profile hidden.

Yes, my account has been reviewed as safe by Flickr staff. My global settings are not set to hide my profile. Nothing is set to hide from searches.

I can find my photos via the Flickr Photo search engine. But I can not find my flickr account name via the Flickr People search no matter how many times I try.

Any other suggestions/tips?

You've confirmed that you haven't accidentally hidden yourself from public searches, and you do have public photos (not that that should make a difference!), so I've got nothing to offer, sorry!
